This Project Sheet combines two Stampin' Up! products that are not retiring (and, I know you are glad!) ~ the HEARTFELT stamp set (#152417) from the Spring mini catty and the DOG BUILDER PUNCH (#148543). So many of us have pets that we would easily put in the best friend category and this card is purrrrfect! And, a shout out to two of my best friends ~ Barbara Raliski and Agnes Leach ~ both of these ladies have dogs that are therapy dogs. These dogs do so much to spread good cheer and happiness as they comfort people in lots of different situations. Extra treats for therapy dogs!
Did you ever see a lion with more personality than this one? (He reminds me of Tripod!) I think this is my favorite retiring stamp set ~ or, bundle ~ Bonanza Buddies Bundle on page 34 in the Spring Mini catty. I am using this stamp set in my wonderful STAMP CLUBS this month (yes, we start this afternoon!) ~ we will be social distancing without hugs (somehow a usual part of seeing each other monthly)! I have two other project sheets for this fun set ~ let me know if you would like them ~ $2/project sheet. Or, if you prefer a kit with the cardstock cut and ready to assemble for two cards I can send that to you also. The fee will be $15 and includes shipping to you. According to Stampin' Up! restriction however I cannot stamp the images for you so you will either need to order the stamp set or the bundle. Of course, you can also change the stamp set to one you have in your collection. Either way, enjoy this cute card!
Have fun with this card? Want to make more cards and learn new techniques and fun folds? Join one of my stamp clubs to you can get together with friends and have a relaxing time crafting in the Cat/Art Studio. I would love to talk to you about my schedule and see where you would fit best in a stamp club!
This Tuesday's Project Sheet is inspired by Kelly's pretty cards from yesterday's blog post. This card includes excellent use of the Detailed Bee Dies (page 30 in the Spring Mini) including the bees, the hive and the background design. All available for another month as this Bundle retires at the end of May. Print off the Project Sheet and enjoy! Happy Tuesday!
This card is sooooo cute and I know exactly who I am going to send it to ~ my Aunt Marge ~ Marjorie Claire ~ in Green Bay! She will love it! This is from the BEST DRESSED SUITE (#153926) on page 54 in the Spring Mini catty. The suite includes the Bundle, Mint Macaron Ribbon, Best Dressed Note Cards & Envelopes (everyone should buy this little package, $8.00 for 24 note cards!), tassels and a terrific package of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper in very bright and pretty colors! It was not my favorite suite but it has grown on me and now I just want to make loads of pretty cards and send them to friends. This one would brighten anyone's day ~ JUST WHAT WE NEED!
If you would like to place an online order you can do it right from my blog. Click on the word SHOP above my picture with the cat on the top right. Use HOSTESS CODE Q736RF2M if your order is under $150 (if it is $150 or over you will receive Host Benefits on your order). I will pick a name at the end of the month from those who used the April Hostess Code and give a $10 Gift Certificate!
And, don't forget to send me your list of 20 stamp sets (either/both catalogs) that you think will be on the RETIRING LIST. Contest ends tomorrow at 6 PM!
This bright card uses the TECHNIQUE ~ MASKING. You will make a mask using a large post-it note, stamping the butterfly and cutting it out with your SNIPS. Next you will stamp the center butterfly on the Whisper White cardstock and cover it with the mask. Stamp two more butterflies. When you take the mask off you will have these three to color. The Project Sheet suggests using Blends but other possibilities include the retiring In-Color markers that we talked about yesterday ~ Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch. You can find this stamp set, BEAUTIFUL DAY, on page 131 in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.
It's PROJECT SHEET TUESDAY again and this week I have a card that I created recently using the ORNATE GARDEN SUITE. It took me a while to make it and, also, a while to figure out how to explain what I did. So, this is definitely not a card for a beginner stamper. I will post cards that will be quick and easy in the future. You can find out all the information about this suite on my blog post ~ scroll back to April 1!
Our card today uses the Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper on page 169 in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog ~ love the bright colors!!! Your friends will be very impressed when they find this card in their mailbox! And again, laser or fussy cut??? That is the question!
Happy Tuesday! Happy Masculine Card today! We really need to have more stamp sets celebrating the men in our lives, don't we? This is a great idea/layout for this Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Well Dressed, and it uses a saying from the Outdoor Barbecue stamp set (page 50 in the Spring Mini). And, I love the colors ~ Blueberry Bushel and Pineapple Punch! Did you remember that these two are part of the 2018-2020 IN-COLORS and will be retiring on June 2 ~ or, sooner, because they will only be available while supplies last! Check these five colors out on page 164 in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog and let me know if you would like to order/resupply. As I am sure you have heard me say a million times ~ if you have the stamp pad, be SURE that you have the little ink refill bottle!!! Have a healthy day!
You can find this new Designer Series Paper, FLOWERING FOILS, on page 3 in the new MORE brochure ~ the new products FREE during Sale-A-Bration (we have 14 more days to take advantage of this year's specials)! There are four designs in this pretty rose gold and silver foil and they all sparkle! There are 12 sheets ~ 3 sheets of the 4 single-sided designs, 12" x 12". You can see three of the designs, below, and they fourth design is used on the card with the project sheet, below. Also, the project sheet specifies using Sponge Brayers (141714) ~ you can find these great little brayers on page 181 in the annual catalog. The brayers come with two handles and four sponges for $8.00. You could also use Stamping Sponges (141337) or Sponge Daubers (133773) for a similar effect with the foiled paper.
