I will miss these....

This is my newest 3D embossing folder, LAYERED FLORALS, and one that I just received.  It is a beauty and one that I 'tried out' yesterday (as a break from doing taxes one of my least favorite jobs!).  You can find it on page 65 in the Mini Catalog.  It is $11.00 and the order number is 162935.  Like some of the other crafting products in the catalog it is hard to see ~ look up in the left hand corner.  I used my white watercolor pencil (you can find two assortments on page 125 in the annual catalog) to highlight several of the embossed flowers.  What do you think?

The colors that I used will be retiring soon!  I will miss them!  If you need any of the 2022 -2024 IN COLOR PRODUCTS it would be best to order them now ~ they will be out of stock soon!

It's definitely time to get those Valentine's in the mail!  This cute card uses TWO of the FREE products that you can find in your SALE-A-BRATION brochure ~ Jungle Pals (page 12 and 13) and Most Adored 12" x 12" designer series paper (page 9).  Here is the inside of my card ~

TIGER 3And, the stamp set ~

TIGER 4And, the dies ~

Wanted To Say

You can find this set of dies on page 167 in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog.  There are 14 dies in the set ~ Wanted To Say, #161594 ~ that includes the double dies below and six smaller (hearts, flowers, etc.) dies.  These dies are also 'mentioned' on page 35 in the catalog but it is very difficult to actually tell just how useful they can be.  I used Basic White for the base of each of the words and scraps from my drawer for the words,  I used the 'green' glue ~ lightly ~ to adhere the words to the background.  Speaking of scraps, need some?  I would love to share!

Poetic Expressions Suite

The January – April Mini Catalog has eight suites of products to enhance your creativity. The suite I fell in love with is the Poetic Expressions Suite (162826) found on pages 60 - 62. I can see a variety of ways this suite can be used. Let’s look at the components of this suite and then I will give you a tutorial for using this suite to make a card.

My attention was drawn right away to the Thoughtful Expressions bundle (162822), especially the Thoughtful Expressions dies (162821). The dies have beautiful ruffled circle dies in a great number of sizes. These circles have stitching both on the inside edge of the die and on the outside. There is also a die to cut out the hummingbird that is in the stamp set and some of the flowers.

The name of the suite comes from the designer paper name, Poetic Expressions Designer Series Papers (162814). The colors used in these papers are Wild Wheat, Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, Boho Blue, Moody Mauve, Bubble Bath and Basic White. The patterns have a vintage look to me with florals, stripes, and textures.

All suites have to have some bling, right? This Poetic Expressions suite has Champaign Iridescent Dots (162824). These are non-adhesive flat-backed dots of varying sizes. They coordinate well with the colors in this suite.

bee suite

You can find the 'bee mine' suite collection on page 9 in the Mini Catalog.  It includes SQUARE PILLOW BOXES (10 stampable boxes, $8).  The boxes are scored and have adhesive included (on the box) so there is no need for glue.  They go together so easily ~ I was amazed!  I used a Blending Brush to color the outside of the box and then added the tag & ribbon.

My friend, Cyndi Fisher, made square pillow boxes over the weekend ~ so cute!

This video REALLY shows the DSP!

Here is a great tool for you to use as you check out the DSP and other products in the new Mini Catalog.  The file includes a Wish List (yea!  we all need one!) and an Index.  I hope this will help you as you enjoy each page of the catalog.  Oh!  And, write in your catalog ~ it helps me so much to remember the products and how I want to use them...
