Team meeting this afternoon and it is so much fun to get together (because we have been doing ZOOM forever)!  One of our activities today was a swap using any of the sets in the Mini Catalog.  Here are some of the cards ~

So excited!

A box from Stampin' Up! arrived today.  I am so excited!  This is the first-ever Million Sales Retreat!  Alan was invited to attend also but he decided that he did not want to travel so I invited my niece, Katherine.  She and I will fly to Utah on Wednesday, March 9, and fly back on Sunday, March 13.

The black folder contains the Itinerary and information about Salt Lake City and Park City.

Last weekend Stampin' Up! held a virtual 'convention' - instead of meeting in person everything was presented online.  The downside is not seeing old friends and making new ones.  The upside is that it provides a way for many more demonstrators to participate.  The emphasis was on the upcoming January to June Mini Catalog (J - J) and SALE-a-bration that begins on January 4.  I will be showing you some of the pictures that I took of my computer screen during the weekend.

Happy Card Making Day!

HAPPY WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!

The big day is here! We hope everyone has a great World Card Making Day (WCMD). And remember, once we finish creating our beautiful cards, let’s not forget to SEND THEM with a handwritten message to brighten someone’s day.

I hope that you are crafting today ~ and, that you'll put those cards in the mail on Monday!  I didn't plan anything special in the Cat/Art Studio because this is my 'creative weekend' for my upcoming 2022 CALENDAR CLASSES.  I have twelve months to worry about ~ making sure that I end up with an attractive 2022 calendar that you will enjoy making for yourself and friends.  I have four months designed so I still have a long way to go!  Check the newsletter that I sent out earlier this week for dates & times.  I hope to see you in class!!!

Radiate! Sparkle! Glow!

This lovely lady is LISA NICHOLS who gave the keynote address at the General Session of [email protected] last night.  She gave an inspirational speech that I wish all of you could have heard!  She told about her beginnings, about being a young mother in Los Angeles who went to an ATM to get money to buy diapers for her baby son.  The balance on her account was $11.42.  She explained her depression and her journey to overcome personal problems.  She now has her own international company, MOTIVATING THE MASSES, has written at least six books and speaks all over the world.  She is easy to find on google ~ look her up ~ I know that we can all gain from her inspirational message!  Happy Sunday!

 

BACKSTAGE @ HOME!

Stampin' Up! knows how to spoil their demonstrators!  We are all spending the weekend online participating in our virtual 'convention' ~ [email protected]  A brightly striped box full of goodies arrived earlier in the week and the WELCOME RECEPTION was Thursday evening.  Yesterday the General Session started at two and continued with Networking Session, Breakout Sessions, General Sessions and (beginning at 9:30 PM) a Stampin' Game Show (I didn't make that one!).  I am loving the Breakout Sessions ~ I have talked to demonstrators from Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Canada and all over the US!  The whole agenda is very well organized and very focused using STAMPIN' UP! VALUES or PEOPLE FIRST; BETTER YOUR BEST; COURAGE AND WE OWN IT!  So excited for today ~ only an hour and a half from now!!!

PS:  Yesterday's key note speaker was Carey Lohrenz ~ the Navy's FIRST female F-14 FIGHTER PILOT ~ fascinating!!!
