I know that many of you have now received your MINI CATTY but, not the SALE-A-BRATION so I did a video on Friday afternoon to show you the products ~ the stamp sets and the fabulous designer series paper.  It always makes me a bit nervous to do a video but my friend, Lynne, was here to hold the camera ~ she's wonderful!  Let me know what you think!

Stampin' Up! Mini ~ there is hope...

The January - June Mini Catalog is on it's way ~ there is hope!  My sister, Sarah, in Coinjock, NC received hers several days ago!!!!  Do you believe that???  But, my Virginia stamping friends, haven't.  So sad.  Let me know if you get yours in the mail ~ call me or text me ~ I really want to know!  If you don't get it soon I will start sending them out to you.  I have a limited number but I can order more and will be happy to send you one ~ just let me know!

Curvy Christmas Video

I haven't done a video for a long time ~ actually WE haven't because we haven't gotten together!!!  WE?  Yes, my friend, Lynne, and I ~ she is my tech friend who loves to use my phone to create videos.  Thank you, Lynne!  I wanted to show you a little more about the products in the Curvy Celebrations Variety Bundle so I am using a stamp from the Christmas stamp set, a die from the Bundle and the Classic Christmas 6" x 6" designer series paper.  This is a design that you could use with any DSP ~ particularly if it is a small design.  It's not going to work well with larger designs.  Let me know if you have questions ~ I am never sure that I am telling you everything that you need to know so that you can create you own card.  I guess it is time for FB Live!  What do you think?

Quite Curvy

Stampin' Up!'s video, below, shows how to make these two cards using the QUITE CURVY BUNDLE (1562280)/there is no sound for the video.  The designer series paper used is from the PEONY GARDEN DSP on page 149 in the annual catalog.  The colors are Basic Gray, Gray Granite, Petal Pink and Whisper White.  Interesting ~ you can add your own colors to the gray designs!

In The Pines w Stampin' Up!

10.20_DBWS_THUMBNAIL_MONTHLY_FOCUSYou can find this bundle, IN THE PINES, on page 43 in Stampin' Up!'s Fall Mini Catalog.  The bundle includes a stamp set, In The Pines, and a set of dies, Pine Woods Dies.  I have noticed a number of times in this catalog that it can be very hard to find the information about the bundles.  I can't imagine why Stampin' Up! would want to hide that information ~ after all it saves us 10% right off the top!  Look at the top of page 43 for the bundle information.  Enjoy the quick video below from Stampin' Up!  And, by the way, as far as I know there is no sound.

Better Late Than Never.....

My friend, Lynne, was nice enough to stop by the Cat/Art Studio and film this video for me (thank you, Lynne!).  We filmed it way back in September with the thought of posting it right away and then it kind of disappeared into the clouds (icloud that is) and we found it recently ~ as in yesterday!  So here it is and I hope you won't mind all of the talk about September but, since it is a walk through the Mini Catty and all about Fall maybe it is just perfect for TODAY!  Let me know what you think,,,,,,,,,,,,

Beautiful Autumn Bundle

You can find the BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN BUNDLE on page 46 in Stampin' Up!'s Mini Catalog.  The stamp set, below, is bundled with the set of three punches.  Remember, because it is bundled you save 10% ~ always a good thing!  I will post more samples tomorrow and we will be using this bundle in my BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN CLASS coming soon ~ September 26 and 27 ~ two classes, both a 1 PM.  EMAIL ME if you have questions!

Walk through Stampin' Up!'s Mini Catalog with me...

Happy September!  Enjoying Stampin' Up's Mini Catalog?  Let me take you on a little walk through the Fall leaves and other designs that make us all so thankful that it is just around the corner!  September is the beginning of the change and may it be met with a sense of joy and renewed togetherness.  As always, let me know if you have questions and/or comments.  I always want to hear from you ~ that's why I do what I do ~ because of you!  Happy September Stamping!

Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine ~ you'll love it!

Here's the card that I created using the CELEBRATION TIDINGS BUNDLE (page 58 in the Mini Catalog).  All the stamps (including the spiders) are included in the stamp set.  I strung the spiders on with orange thread (using black Dimensionals!) and created the background (Pumpkin Pie cardstock) using the Cobwebs Embossing Folder on page 53.

Happy Haunting

I will show you another card using this stamp set tomorrow and ~ it's easy peasy!

Bow Pants to the rescue...............

Some of my stamping friends seem to have a problem tying bows to add to their projects.  I have been using a simple little tool for years (so long ago that I can't remember when it started or where it came from) ~ BOW PANTS.  The name of the tool is easy to remember because it looks like a pair of pants and it makes bows!  I make mine from the lightweight cardboard in the back of the package of Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper.  I make mine using an old punch some of you will remember ~ Word Window ~ but the CLASSIC LABEL PUNCH (on page 166 AC) will work just as well!  You can see the different sizes of bows (and, how much ribbon you will need) below the video.  This card will show you the finished bow made with Bow Pants!
